I checked out both the websites and I thought that they were
both acceptable. I do not feel that a person should have to be at church to
worship their god. Granted you do not get the full effect of going to church
from being online because you are not in the actual congregasion but you should still get the same message.
If the website is giving the same sermon of the prayer of the day and you are
able to check it out and realize the point of the sermon then your religion
should not hold you accountable for not showing up. I understand the point of
showing up to a place that is considered to be holy to perform your religious
beliefs but for some people that is not always going to be possible. I for one
am a Methodist and was raised in church I rarely ever go now but I believe: and
in all the foreign countries I have been in we did not have preachers or any
form of individual preaching or internet worship, nor did we have the time to
perform it. From looking at the churches website they had the worship bulletin
available for you to look through and to navigate your way through the worship
service. It went as far as to put in the worship service prayer room, bible
study and the office to contact the preacher.
Dealing with the Hindu website it looked to be fine to me, for the
people who are of that faith, it look to be sufficient for the fact that they
had their meditation room, their shrine room and the puja room. I am not of
that faith but if you make the effort to worship, there should not be no
argument of whether its online or not.

blog about blogging
Blog about Blogging, at first i had a hard time finding subjects to talk about other than military stuff. Honestly almost all my blogs have been about military stuff and will probably still have something to do with future blogs. On a few of the blogs i have posted, i was dealing with some of the adjustments to change that i have been experiencing over the last few months, not only by starting school, but classwork people, driving in traffic, and the moving process. Most of the blog discussions have been free writes so i have been able to bitch and complain, or write about anything that was on my mind at that time.Which was great because this was easier for me than some body giving me a specific topic to talk about for the simple fact i have a hard time reading stuff I have no interest in what so ever, an the trying to writing about it. Some times reading other peoples blogs would give me ideas to try and talk about or would grab my attention and keep my interest till their next post, even have me wondering, how that night ended. Over all my blogging experience has not been all that bad, i feel as if i have learned more from posting blogs in this class then listening to lectures in others. I have learned to use the computer better, (after 3 weeks posting blogs in the wrong locations). I have also managed to make two, google blogger accounts, and upload a few photos from the blogging experience.

Reality check
So on my last blog i was upset and in a bad mood because i got hit with a ton of homework from classes that were due at a certain time, which to most of the students in my class is not a big deal, they are use to it also most of the students are recently out high school and are comfortable with homework every night plus doing it on computers. As for my self I was overwhelmed! Mainly because being out of school for so long things have changed, such as paper work, turning it in the next day before class starts, not having to look for homework posted on a computer website, the school issuing text, etc... So for me this is a reality check for the simple fact that what I have been doing for the last 12 years really does not have a thing to do with what I am doing now. To be truthful it really is not that much work for an individual to do, but when they are computer illiterate then it becomes a task. For instance I know we do blogs every week and they are due before a certain day and time so I thought I would knock math out first and then tend to the rest of the homework. I was wrong! I suck at math so after 15 attempts to do just 8 problems I finally got the homework finished.(and believe this I understand it very well now). Although I spent most of my evening attempting to complete one assignment.(it is also completed on the computer). But even after all that I still have more homework that needed to be completed. So what I have come up with is to do what is not so frustrating first and then attempt the other after I have completed the rest of my assignments, considering math has only one answer. Either your right or your wrong. So with this being said I am going to arrange my schedule on Tuesday and Thursday to where I can do my work without making myself go crazy. I have math and english on the same day, so ill do the english first and then if I have a problem with math I will ask the professor the next day.

college
So I have started college and everything seems to be going pretty well, but I have basically lost the time for other activities due to all the homework I get from this english class. I have more work from it than any other class I attend. I have homework in other classes but not like this one. First I have to write a blog every other day and then comment on four of my peers posts. I don't really have anything I find to interesting to write about every other day so I try to find some random bullshit to talk about. Then after all this I half to download a shit ton of random readings that are boring as hell and then go print them out. Which by the way is nine cent per page which I have found out is cheaper to do at school than at home. This is because by the time you print all these papers out you don't have no freaking ink cartridge and those Fuc*** are fifty to sixty dollars. Now that I have gotten all this finished it is late in the evening and I am about to finally try and start on some homework that is not going to take 99.9 percent of the remaining day. So roughly around 12:16 (time as of right now Monday, 30) I might, just maybe think about going to bed, but before I do so english is also the only class I have that certain things are due at 1830 (6:30)pm on sunday. Not bitching or anything, just tired and aggravated after a one on one ass whooping by math. I mean who was the asshole that put letters in a math problem, I would like to beat the shit out of that person. Im talking about some straight up ninja ass kicking. I think that I am finished bitching.

counrty talk
I am from Greensboro NC, I believe my features are a mixture of
all. Considering my mothers grandparents were from the hills and my dad
was from the city, it changed my parents dialect. For instance most of
these sayings I have heard or said with the exception of a few. My
mother is more mountain talk so i tend to Jumble more of my words
together like "aint, yagonna, oveyonder, and so on. As to where my dad he
was from what was called the city at the time, so he sounded a little
more proper 'if that is what you want to call it in the south' he would
use words like soda pop, light bulb, plumb bob, and so on. My mother
picked her language up from her parents and so did my dad so when i came
about it was a cluster Fu**. So leaning how to speak from them had me
talking funny to anything not associated in or from the south. As I grew
up I attended school in the 80's and
was introduced to other forms of speech(slang). This consisted of some of what other kids in my area grew up learning from their parents: cool, jive, thats bad, hot, and so on which half the words meant the oppisite of the real meaning. (80s long hair rock music/rap) Southeast Greensboro is considered country slang because even in charlotte when I talk to some folks they half to ask me twice what i said. I am pretty sure it is because i am not speaking proper English. I think most people look at southerners as not so bright because of the way that we talk or the accents we have, but from experience certain people(say northerners) cannot perform or do as many different tasks as we do. Either way i do not judge by the way a person speaks I am proficient in what I do I am neither proud or upset, its just the way I am. On another note most of my friends from service were from up north(Mass). So whenever i would go home on leave with them the accent would help out a lot, because most of the girls up there love to here southerners talk.

Coming from a military background we use a lot of acronyms. Basically these are words that we chop up and only use the first letter of each word to describe a word or a saying. We call these diddies, which is basically away or a form of remembering the word or phrase. For example
OFP This would relate to a marine who does whatever he wants when he wants. That marine there is on his Own F***ing program!
From this point that guy is about to receive and ASS Chewing, or he is about to be Locked The F*** on which means exactly that.
These are just some of a lot of military jargon. I could have a conversation with one of my military buddies in front of the entire class and probably no one in the class would understand any of what was being talked about. Another for instance a bathroom is called a Head, doors and Windows are called portholes, a marine with glasses is wearing BCs or if he is a funny looking marine with glasses we say he has birth controls on. A female marine is called a WM woman marine, IF your are in a recon unit or some type of infantry/victor unit which is all men, you would see and talk even more jacked up than regular marines because its all men and you would not half to worry about what is said in front of females. We call women marines that are in the field bag nasties which has been abolished now days but infantry or real marines still say it. These are all forms of military people communicating with each, civilians or people not affiliated with the military would be lost in the sauce.
